Who is Virat Kohli?

 Virat Kohli is a professional cricketer from India, who is widely considered as one of the best batsmen in the world. He was born on November 5, 1988, in Delhi, India. Kohli started his international career in August 2008, and has since then played in all three formats of the game - Test, ODI, and T20.



Kohli is known for his aggressive batting style, and has scored over 12,000 runs in ODIs, with 43 centuries to his name. He is also the fastest player to reach 10,000 runs in ODIs. In Test cricket, Kohli has scored over 7,500 runs, with 27 centuries.

Kohli has been the captain of the Indian cricket team since 2017, and has led the team to numerous victories, including the historic series win in Australia in 2020-21. He has also been the recipient of several awards, including the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy for ICC Cricketer of the Year in 2017 and 2018.
